Disruptive Media Conference

Roy Sekoff, founding editor of The Huffington Post, has joined as key speaker the Disruptive Media Conference during the NAB Show 2014. The two-day conference gathers broadcasters to discuss how new media as well as more traditional OTT technologies are impacting business models for distribution and consumer engagement.

"Profiting in Entertainment's New Landscape" is the subtitle of the Disruptive Media Conference in Las Vegas from Wednesday, April 9, to Thursday, April 10, 2014. Representatives from mobile content providers, digital and interactive division heads, telecom, cable and satellite providers, game device and content executives, consumer brand executives, and Advertising Agencies will attend, organizers said.

Highlights of the Conference will be the keynote of Roy Sekoff from Huffington Post Media Group. Sekoff, founding editor of The Huffington Post, President and co-creator of HuffPost Live, will speak from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. at Wednesday April 9. On the same day from 12:15 – 1 p.m. there will be a discussion titled "Disruptors in Broadband: Opportunity in the Connected Home". At 5 – 5:45 p.m. the topic on stage is "Mobile Disruption: Building New Experiences with Google Glass". Highlights on Thursday include talks about the "Disruptors in Gaming: Evolving the Experience with Smart Phones, Tablets and Next Gen Consoles". More information here. (2/14)
