Top speakers to headline HbbTV Symposium 2022

Leading industry experts will discuss the latest developments in the connected TV market, unveil new products and services and provide exclusive insights in future trends at the 10th HbbTV Symposium and Awards on November 9-10 in Prague hosted by the HbbTV Association and the Czech Association of Commercial Television (AKTV).

The conference programme covers topics such as global TV and OTT developments, HbbTV in the Czech Republic, Targeted Advertising, conformance regimes and interoperability, open standards, audience measurement, specification update, technology trends and a look at the US market.

Speakers include Louay Bassbous (Fraunhofer FOKUS), Oliver Botti (Fincons), Bob Campbell (Eurofins Digital Testing), Fabio Guarnaccia (Mediaset), Frank Heineberg (RTL Deutschland), Ashley Horne (Simplestream), Juha Joki & Mika Kanerva (Sofia Digital), Ranjeet Kaur (DTG), Paul Martin (OBS), Kay Mysliwiec (ProSiebenSat.1), Daniele Novaga (Tivù), Raj Patel (Yotta), Angelo Pettazzi (HbbTV MEWG), Xavier Redon (Cellnex), Aniello Saulino & Pedro Valiente (Kineton), Stuart Savage (LG Electronics), Thomas Stockhammer (Qualcomm) and Moritz Wuttke (Konodrac).

The panel and round table discussions will be complemented by keynotes held by Vincent Grivet (HbbTV Association), Jan Vlček (AKTV), Paul Gray (Omdia), Jon Piesing (HbbTV Association) and Andre Prahl (Deutsche TV-Plattform). In the accompanying exhibition, leading market players will demonstrate new products and services.
The HbbTV Symposium 2022 will also host the 5th edition of the HbbTV Awards, showcasing and celebrating excellence in the HbbTV community. The prizes will be awarded at a prestigious ceremony in the evening of November 9.
