At the 2013 NAB Show, Dejero will demonstrate in the North Hall (booths N1110, N314MR) its latest innovations in bonded cellular technology that utilize mobile wireless networks to transmit high-quality video for electronic newsgathering (ENG). The Dejero LIVE+ Platform offers powerful capabilities for improving broadcasters' ability to deliver primary and supplemental live video feeds from the field, at a reduced cost and with greater efficiency and ease of use.

Harris Broadcast comes to the NAB 2013 Show with several new Videotek test and measurement products and enhancements. Notably, the company will inject loudness monitoring and enhanced multi-image display capabilities into its MSA Series of multi-source analysis software products, enabling more test and measurement functionality in the compressed domain.

The German company LYNX Technik AG, provider of modular interfaces is launching a new key feature for its APPolo Control System at NAB 2013 (booth N1120). The LYNX Technik APPolo Control System is a user-friendly, intuitive and self-configuring control system for remote control, status monitoring and SNMP error reporting.

The National Association of Broadcasters announced today that radio engineer Frank Foti (Foto) of the Telos Alliance and television technology innovator Jay Adrick of Harris Corporation have been named the 2013 recipients of the NAB Engineering Achievement Awards. In addition, an NAB Service to Broadcast Engineering award will be presented to Leonard J. Charles, director of engineering, Midwest, at Morgan Murphy Media. The recipients will be honored at the NAB Show Technology Luncheon, sponsored by Ustream, on Wednesday, April 10 in Las Vegas.

Grass Valley has added the LDX Flex studio camera system as an entry-level offering to its LDX Series of upgradable system cameras. The affordable LDX Flex, Grass Valley announced, delivers the same high-quality images and performance and supports the use of the same accessories as other cameras in the LDX Series for a single production format, but can be upgraded through the entire LDX range: LDX Première, LDX Elite, and LDX WorldCam as required.
