Georacing wins the Grand Prix de France Innovation

Georacing received the Grand Prix de France Innovation Sport Automobile at the Trophées du Sport Automobile organized by the Fédération Française du Sport Automobile at the Mogador Theater in Paris. The price was handed over to David Barbosa Da Silva, Georacing Marketing and Sales Manager, by the French Minister of Sports, Roxana Maracineanu.

Georacing helps the spectators of car rally events and other sports like sailing with data and information about the races. The company has developed a technological solution that allows live tracking of cars on internet or on mobile to improve the fan experience.

Thanks to a GPS tracking mobile app installed in the smartphone of the drivers, and which transmits every second the GPS position of the cars, it's possible for fans to follow live the race on an interactive map with many information such as speed, gaps, timings, rankings...

Everything is automated and easy to deploy for the organization. No dedicated equipment needs to be set in the cars. Moreover, the tool allows safety teams to identify possible crashes or breakdowns and to react quickly.

"We would like to thank the members of the jury who selected our innovation among other projects that I am sure were of high quality. We are delighted with the initiative of the FFSA and we are happy to be able to rely on its support and network to help us to promote our solution and accelerate our development in France, then internationally" explains David Barbosa Da Silva, Marketing and Sales Manager at Georacing.
